Is the BALOUVER dog carrier suitable for flying with a dog?

Yes! Our extra-lightweight BALOUVER dog carrier was specially designed for traveling with your dog in the cabin and meets the requirements of most airlines. Most airlines stipulate a maximum total weight (including the carrier) of 8 kg. Our dog carrier also meets other important airline requirements for pet transport in the cabin – it features good ventilation on all sides, is made of leak-proof, waterproof material, and has a secure closure. It's sturdy enough to ensure your dog travels safely, yet slightly flexible ("squishy") and fits easily under the seat in front of you.

Is the BALOUVER washable?

The cover of the orthopedic mattress is removable and machine washable at 30°C. While the dog carrier itself is not machine washable, it can be easily cleaned with a damp cloth thanks to its water-repellent PU coating.

Yes – the orthopedic latex mattress ensures ergonomic comfort, while the reversible cover with a cool and cozy side is suitable for any season. Four mesh windows guarantee optimal air circulation and a view to the outside. An additional, openable mesh window serves as a comfortable headrest and allows your dog to relax and observe its surroundings.

The BALOUVER dog bag can be carried in three different ways – depending on your needs and comfort.

  • On the trolley: Thanks to the suitcase strap, the bag can be securely attached to any rolling suitcase.
